The Present Perfect Continuous

I grew up in Minnesota until I was 18 then went to Seattle to study Anthropology and International Studies at the University of Washington. After graduating from the UW I worked in Okinawa Japan as an English teacher on the JET Program. In Okinawa I lived on a small island called Irabu where I was the only non-Japanese person for three years. I tell everyone that it was the best three years of my life so far. After that I taught English in Hong Kong on the NET Scheme for four years and met my beautiful wife Karen. I have since returned to Minnesota and for the last three years I have been running an ESL program at a state university. I teach business English to students from Taiwan and I absolutely love my students. So, I have spent my entire life in education and it is my love for teaching and learning that has inspired me to create Lilasophy so that the world can share my love for knowledge and wisdom.
